Bethany Cupples, a 21-year-old part-time cleaner from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire bought a five-week-old purebred Frenchie on Gumtree for £600 or around $815 as a surprise present for her mom. She was actually surprised at the £600 price tag since dogs of this breed are very in vogue and usually go as high as thousands.
When Bethany finally got the pup, she instantly fell in love with her and brought her home to her family. They named her Luna and she definitely brought joy to their lives. But as months passed by and Luna grew bigger, Bethany noticed that she was not actually a purebred Frenchie as advertised on the site.
She did a comparison video of Luna when she was just a puppy and Luna as a dog now on TikTok and it has since gone viral with over 3 million views.
The family then took Luna to the vet where they had her checked and there they discovered that she was in fact a French bulldog mixed with a Yorkshire terrier or more commonly known as a Frorkie. Nevertheless, Bethany didn’t think much about it and just simply thought it was an honest mistake in advertising. And she was doubtful that the seller was a bad seller or a breeder.
She also confessed that she had no idea why the pup was priced at £600. All the other pups were left in good condition and they weren’t harmed in any way. They were all well-nourished and she had no concerns about the seller. She and her whole family just love Luna to bits and there wasn’t anything about her that would change their mind.
Luna made their family whole and they wouldn’t change her for the world. To them, she has the most amazing personality and they are so glad that they found her.
