Puppies are truly adorable. They’re like toddlers who do silly things that never fail to make people laugh. Because of how cute they look and how funny they are, they’re usually the first ones that get adopted from an animal shelter.
Two puppies named Oakley and Aspen were adopted by a couple named Kristin and Jay who are based in North Carolina. Kristin and Jay first learned about the two puppies from their friend who runs an animal rescue organization in Tennessee.
After they saw pictures of Oakley and Aspen, they were in love and knew that they needed to adopt them and make them part of their big family. Kristin and Jay run a farm sanctuary where they have all sorts of rescued farm animals living on their property. Their sanctuary is called Ziggy’s Refuge Farm Sanctuary and they know that Oakley and Aspen would fit in and make friends with all the animals living on their farm.
What’s truly amazing was that the puppies felt completely at home as soon as they arrived. They greeted their new dad with their tails wagging and they loved meeting all the different animals at the sanctuary. Kristin and Jay were sure that Oakley and Aspen would grow up becoming protectors and friends of all their animals at the sanctuary.
During the first few days, Oakley and Aspen spent the entire day meeting all the animals and becoming friends with them. They were eager to learn the ropes and were accompanied by the other dogs at the farm to teach them what they should and shouldn’t do.
After only a few days, Oakley and Aspen are catching on to the farm routine. They love following their new dad around to feed the animals and they also love spending time with Ziggy the pig. Oakley and Aspen are so lucky to become a part of such a wonderful family. Here’s a video featuring Oakley and Aspen thriving in their new forever home.
