Dogs surprise their owners in more ways than one. They can do a lot of fascinating tricks, which include standing on their hind legs.
While standing or walking on hind legs is not a novel dog trick, it will never fail to make anyone smile. If you see your dog doing it for the first time, you may get crazy and excited that you find yourself filming such a milestone.
A dog named Nala has captured the attention of the TikTok community after showing off her ability to walk on her two feet. Here’s Nala’s hilarious story.
Is Nala washing the dishes?
A TikTok user named Kassondra M. Van Wyk filmed her dog showing off her ability to mimic human locomotion. In the viral clip, you could see Nala standing by the kitchen counter. You could hear Kassondra excusing herself, so the dog would notice her. Once Nala’s name was mentioned, the dog poked around from the side of the fridge.
Kassondra asked Nala if she was doing dishes. She muttered that she was hoping so. But then, Nala turned around and casually walked across the room on her two hind legs. If you watch Nala’s video below, you’ll surely laugh at the way she walked off.
Nala became a viral sensation
Nala’s TikTok video has garnered 14 million views. It also has 1.8 million likes and more than 19.5K comments.
A lot of the comments will surely make you laugh. A TikTok page called WeRateDogs commented said that Nala was clearly preparing dinner for her owner. Another comment said that the pooch walked away as if she was actually doing dishes and cooking a casserole in the oven.
One viewer asked if Nala were actually a skinwalker. And if she were, she was a very cute skinwalker. For those who are not familiar with the term, a skinwalker is actually a shapeshifter from the Navajo culture.
Kassondra shared something interesting about Nala’s funny antics. She explained that her pooch started walking on her hind legs when she was only around 10 weeks old.
