Abby was an extremely matted stray that refused to approach anyone.
A woman named Joie used to feed Abby and she said that the dog would not allow anyone to touch her, including herself. So she sent a photograph of this very matted homeless dog to the non-profit organization Hope For Paws so it would get the help that it needed.
Three experienced rescuers drove two and a half hours straight to Mobile Home Park where the dog was supposed to be living. They observed Abby from a distance but did not approach her immediately. A rescuer soon approached Abby and gave her food. She discovered that Abby preferred the cheeseburger to the Vegan burger that rescuer Mitch Weiss particularly made for her.
She swiftly took the opportunity to seize the dog. Everyone in the community who knew Abby was relieved that she had been saved from the streets.
While examining Abby for injuries or medical problems, rescuers opted to remove some of the matted furs that were obscuring her vision. Abby was finally able to see her rescuers and the folks who had cared for her for so long.
At the group’s facility, all of the dog’s fur was shaved off. After roughly an hour, the rescuers eventually removed all of Abby’s fur, which she had been carrying for years.
Abby met new acquaintances at the facility. The individuals who rescued her from the streets later became her foster parents.
The dog was spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and underwent Inguinal Hernia surgery. Eldad, Abby’s foster dad, had to depart the country the next day, so he left her with Loreta, her foster mother.
Abby discovered how lovely it was to be a dog and to be loved with the help of another dog named Bonny. The dog is now looking forward to more extraordinary discoveries, adventures, and a loving family.
