Angela rescued a dog who could not stop shaking and named him Griff. Angela admitted realizing that Griff was going to be the most complicated rescue she has ever done on the first day she met him because he looked like a broken spirit that was beyond repair.
Angela shared that almost all of Griff’s fur was missing, which turned out to be due to a severe case of skin infection. Griff acted like a wild animal and had many behavioral setbacks because he had never been handled by a human before.
Angela immediately took Griff to the vet’s office for an examination on his first day with her. However, everyone failed to get Griff out of the kennel because of how distraught he was.
Angela admitted that Griff’s first few days were stressful for both him and herself. Angela recalled spending most of her nights with Griff, with her sitting on the floor right outside of his kennel and offering him food.
Angela shared that it took her a while before she managed to slip a leash around Griff’s neck because he always cowering in fear whenever she tried to do it. Griff eventually warmed up and started showing a little bit of his mischievous side after a few weeks.
Griff busted out of his cage, sat in a basket in the corner of her room, and made himself comfortable. Angela shared how content and relaxed Griff looked, and he did not even get up when she approached the box because of how comfy he was.
Griff eventually got used to being taken out and even enjoyed going outside for walks. Angela hopes that Griff gets adopted into a loving home because he is a sweet guy who loves to cuddle in a quiet environment.
