When we have a place we can call home, we feel secure and protected. We can confidently go about our days because we know that there’s a safe space we can retreat to once we’re done with all of our tasks.
But what happens when fate decides to rob us of the places we call home? It’s a stressful situation to be in, especially when we lose people who are dear to us in the process.
Buried alive
A mother dog could not believe her eyes when she saw the house she and her two puppies live in collapse. She tried to and get them, but she was too late. They had already been buried under the pile of concrete.
Knowing that she was running against time, she frantically dug through the rubble to free her babies. When she realized she couldn’t do it by herself, she tried to ask for help from the people around her. Luckily, Animal Aid Unlimited, India heard her desperate cries for help.
One of the volunteers followed her to where the puppies were buried. Mama dog tried to help him dig them out, but she was only making the rescue even more challenging for both of them. The volunteer gently pushed her to the side before going back to digging.
It took him a while, but after removing rocks, soil, and bricks, he finally heard the puppies crying. After getting both of them, he brought them to Mama dog to show her they’re alive and well.
Reunited at last
The puppies had dirt all over their body, but Mama dog didn’t mind. She licked their bodies and showered them with wet kisses the moment the volunteer handed them over to her. He also gave them a makeshift bed so she could feed her starving babies. Know more about this heartwarming story below:
