Often, when there is an accident or disaster, we tend to save ourselves first before others. However, pet owners also think of their furry friends and how they will be able to get out of the bad situation.
For one family in Pasco County in Florida, they called a fire deputy officer to safely get their two beloved puppies out of the fire in their home.
Pasco deputy officer saved their two little puppies from a house fire on January 9 around 7:30 PM in Florida, USA.
It all started when the officer got to the place. He quickly went out of his car and ran to the residents of the burning house and neighborhood. He asked if everyone was fine.
He then made sure first that there were no other human beings inside the house by asking the homeowners. Afterward, he got inside the backyard to check the surroundings for any other signs of life.
He saw two scared Shih Tzu puppies cowering beside the fence. The deputy officer tried whistling to call the dogs but they were also scared of him as they were scared of the fire.
Seeing that the dogs would not really come to him because they were anxious, he went farther inside the backyard and near one of the two puppies. The deputy officer scooped one of the tiny Shih Tzus and checked for injuries.
After he saw that there weren’t any wounds or burnt areas, the officer went to the other dog and check on it. The Pasco deputy also checked for injuries after lifting the other one. Then, he went for the run outside the vicinity of the fire.
The family was thankful that the officer found their dogs. They all went to a safe place to stay for the night together with their two Shih Tzu puppies.
