When dogs and cats form an amazing bond, it might yet be the cutest thing one might be lucky to see. Seeing two furballs from the opposite sides of the animal kingdom share a unique friendship is enough to warm anyone’s heart. This might be the case for anyone who discovers the story of Nikko, a 1-year-old Husky, who was surprised when he found out he has a new feline brother.
You see, Nikko was overflowing with joy when he realized that he would soon find companionship in a kitty named Robin, who was adopted at the young age of 16 days. Clearly, he was yearning for a sibling that he could look after.
Every day their human dad saw Nikko taking care of Robin and making sure that the cat never faced any danger. At such a young age, anything could prove to be life-threatening and Nikko was up to the task of keeping a watchful eye.
Having a little brother to care for is the best feeling for a pup like Nikko. He would always guide the kitten to stretch out his arms so he could grow into a strong cat. Soon enough, Robin was able to jump from high-level surfaces and it was something Nikko was proud to see.
Although they were considered siblings, Nikko can be considered as a loving father for the kitten as well. Without the guidance of a mother cat, Nikko steps in and makes sure Robin gets the love he needs.
Because of the dedication Nikko pours in for the kitty, their friendship is sure to stretch through their senior years. We’re happy that these two furballs will still get to spend a lot of time growing up together.
